The Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) made significant changes to its published audit findings in 2019 that signal important shifts in the agency’s enforcement of patient definition. In this webinar, 340B Health will review those changes, discuss what they may mean for 340B covered entities, and highlight the topics that auditors focus on during onsite visits. The goal of the webinar is to give you the information you need to improve program compliance and integrity through better understanding of HRSA audit trends, focus areas, and findings.

HRSA conducts 340B audits of approximately 200 covered entities each year, nearly 80 percent of which involve hospitals. Audits are one of the agency’s main methods for monitoring and enforcing compliance with 340B program requirements. With HRSA now in its ninth year of conducting 340B audits, it remains important to continue observing trends in audit results and final audit report language that can provide key insights into the agency’s enforcement policies and expectations.
