Please Help La. Hospital Employees Displaced by Historic Flood

in 340B in the News

340B Health recently wrote to more than two dozen Louisiana member hospitals and health systems to express solidarity with them and their employees as they recover from catastrophic flooding in mid-August.

More than 20 inches of rain fell in parts of southern Louisiana between Aug. 9-11, flooding tens of thousands of homes and businesses. Hospitals were largely unscathed, but hospital employees were not. The Louisiana Hospital Association estimates that more than 5,000 hospital employees suffered significant property loss to their homes or residences. The LHA Research and Education Foundation established a Hospital Employee Assistance Fund to help these workers and their families during the slow process of recovery. 340B Health has made a donation to the fund. Please consider making a donation as well. Click here for more information.
