Caroline Steinberg is the Vice President, Research and Policy Analytics

Ms. Steinberg is a national expert on hospital policy, strategy and market dynamics. Previously she served in leadership roles at the American Hospital Association, the Lewin Group and the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation where she conducted research and data analytics to support advocacy, policy development and education.

Ms. Steinberg is a leader in efforts to support a robust health care delivery system, promote coverage and access and assist providers in responding to changes in the policy and market environment. Her research and analytics have influenced policy-makers, informed the public and contributed to the body of research on health system change.

In addition to her work in public policy, Ms. Steinberg has consulted with individual health care systems to develop strategic plans, enhance operational efficiency and improve quality. She has also studied health system change and its impact on communities across the country. She has published on a wide variety of issues including quality measurement, market dynamics, consumer protections, and trends affecting hospitals.

Ms. Steinberg received her MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College, with honors, and her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Harvard University.
