Rhea Racho is the Director of Grassroots and Political Engagement for 340B Health, a nonprofit organization of more than 1,500 hospitals and health systems participating in the federal 340B drug pricing program.

Ms. Racho has more than 10 years of experience in public health policy, advocacy, and research. Prior to joining 340B Health, she worked on global health research initiatives with Harvard Medical School’s Program in Global Primary Health Care and Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s Division of Global Health Equity. Previously, she was the program director for advocacy and engagement at the Hepatitis B Foundation, where she managed public policy and grassroots advocacy initiatives, directed national and international storytelling campaigns, and supported other patient and community engagement efforts for nearly seven years.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Racho worked on state and community advocacy with the American Heart Association and gained experience at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission during graduate school. She also served as an AmeriCorps Member at Trinity Habitat for Humanity in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. She currently volunteers as an advisory board member and communications director for New Pathways to Enterprise, a nonprofit organization empowering women in the Philippines to achieve sustainable and fulfilling livelihoods.

Ms. Racho holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in International Studies from Baylor University.
