Senate Draft 340B Legislation: Analyzing the Impact on
340B Hospitals

A bipartisan group of key U.S. senators is requesting public comments by April 1 on draft legislation addressing a range of 340B issues that include patient definition, child site eligibility, covered entity data reporting, covered entity compliance, contract pharmacy access, and discriminatory payment policies. This draft follows a Request for Information on 340B reform that the Senators issued in June 2023. Legislation from this influential group of Senators could pave the way for future congressional action on 340B that could fundamentally change program obligations for hospitals, drug manufacturers, and HRSA. 340B Health strongly encourages 340B hospitals to carefully consider the impact that this legislation could have on their future 340B savings and ability to serve and improve care for their patients. This webinar will review key aspects of the proposal and set the stage for hospitals to submit comments to the Senators.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: C-Suite executives, pharmacy directors, in-house counsel, government relations staff, 340B managers, and compliance officers.
