SYNOPSIS: Are you or one of your colleagues new to 340B? How do you introduce key 340B concepts to someone unfamiliar with the program? 340B impacts a hospital’s operations in various ways and it is often important to develop a basic 340B foundation. But where do you begin?

Please join us for this two-part series to learn more about the 340B program and key 340B compliance requirements. Part 1 introduces the program to those brand-new to 340B or individuals whose day-to-day jobs do not often interact with 340B operations. Speakers discuss the program’s inception and intent, eligibility requirements, key stakeholders in 340B policymaking and operations, essential concepts and terms, and the current state of 340B. Part 2 builds a foundation for 340B compliance, including an overview of program requirements such as patient definition, the duplicate discount prohibition, the GPO exclusion, recertification, and 340B program audits. Though this webinar series is an introductory crash course, we encourage 340B experts to join as well to understand how this resource could support onboarding and education processes within your organization.
