340B Health continues to hear from hospitals that have questions about letters they receive from pharmaceutical manufacturers inquiring into the hospitals’ 340B drug utilization. Manufacturers typically send these “inquiry letters” to hospitals to communicate a concern related to the hospital’s use of 340B drugs and request that the hospital provide information to resolve the issue(s). Some manufacturer inquiries are straightforward and easily resolved, whereas others do not identify a specific compliance concern, yet request a substantial amount of information from hospitals related to how they use 340B drugs.

In this webinar, 340B Health will discuss trends in recent good faith inquiry letters and things hospitals should consider when responding and working with a manufacturer to resolve an issue. A 340B Health member hospital will share its experience responding to different manufacturer inquiries
