WASHINGTON, D.C.— The 340B Health Board of Directors has elected a new member to help represent hospitals and health systems participating in the 340B drug pricing program.

Dave Lacknauth, PharmD, is vice president of pharmacy services for Broward Health, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He oversees strategic direction, financial and clinical outcomes, and program refinement for five hospitals and 10 outpatient clinics. Prior to joining Broward Health as executive director of pharmacy services and system integration in 2018, he spent 12 years as director of pharmacy services for Memorial Healthcare System, based in Hollywood, Fla. He previously held management positions in home health care and medication management. He serves on the multihospital leadership committee for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and on the executive committee for the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He has a Doctor of Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Florida, and an MBA from Baker College.

“Dave is joining the board with decades of health system pharmacy leadership experience and has been an active member of 340B Health, participating in our Pharmacy Services Committee and our Capitol Hill advocacy days as well as presenting on 340B at national conferences,” said 340B Health President and CEO Maureen Testoni. “He knows as well as anyone how hospital pharmacy teams consider 340B to be integral to their missions to provide underserved patients with access to vital health services and prescription drugs they otherwise would struggle to obtain. We are thrilled to have such a strong leader and 340B expert sharing his guidance with the board and bringing another authoritative voice to our work on behalf of our hospital members and the patients in need whom they serve.”
