340B HEALTH BOARD ELECTS TWO NEW MEMBERS

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The 340B Health Board of Directors has elected two new members representing hospitals and health systems participating in the 340B drug pricing program.

Paul Jenny is the senior vice president and chief financial officer for Cincinnati Children’s. As CFO, he is responsible for the overall financial operating plan of the comprehensive pediatric health system and serves as the system’s treasurer. Prior to joining Cincinnati Children’s, he was the senior vice chancellor for finance and administration at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he managed a wide-ranging department portfolio. He also served as interim CFO and executive vice president of the UC system for fiscal year 2020. Before joining UCSF, he was the senior vice president of planning and management at the University of Washington as well as the associate vice chancellor of budget and resource planning at UC Berkeley. He also has held leadership positions at the University of Alaska and the Brookings Institution. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Washington and an MBA from Loyola University New Orleans.

Marva Williams-Lowe, PharmD, is the chief pharmacy officer and system administrative officer for the Pharmacy Integrated Center of Clinical Excellence (ICCE) at Medical University South Carolina (MUSC) Health, based in Charleston, S.C. In that role, she oversees pharmacy services across the MUSC Health system. She also is the senior associate dean for clinical affairs at the MUSC College of Pharmacy. She has more than two decades of health care executive experience in ambulatory, retail, and hospital pharmacy settings. Prior to joining MUSC Health, she served in system and regional administrative roles overseeing pharmacy hospital and clinic operations for Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health System based in Lebanon, N.H. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Master of Health Administration from Ohio University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Certified Pharmacy Executive Leader (CPEL) credential.
