Tom O’Donnell is the Senior Vice President of Government Relations for 340B Health, a nonprofit organization of more than 1,500 hospitals and health systems participating in the federal 340B drug pricing program.
Mr. O’Donnell is the organization’s chief lobbyist and government affairs strategist, leading advocacy with Congress and the administration as well as supporting member hospitals with state government advocacy.
Mr. O’Donnell is an experienced government affairs executive with a long record of successfully advancing health care policy priorities. He previously served as the Senior Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, where he led federal and state advocacy and public policy. He also spent more than 20 years on Capitol Hill, including serving as Chief of Staff for Congressmen Rush Holt, Phil Hare, and Steve Rothman as well as serving as legislative staff to Congressman Lane Evans and Congresswoman Pat Schroeder.
Mr. O’Donnell received a B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organizational Management. He is an Eagle Scout and an honorary member of the Society of the 173rd U.S. Army Airborne Brigade.
