340B HEALTH BOARD ELECTS TWO NEW MEMBERS

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The 340B Health Board of Directors has elected two new members representing hospitals and health systems participating in the 340B drug pricing program.

Mike Loftus is the ministry 340B director-hospital pharmacy for Mercy Health System, based in St. Louis. His team oversees 23 Mercy hospitals that participate in 340B. Over his more than 30-year career with Mercy, he has held numerous additional positions, including staff pharmacist, hospital pharmacy inpatient supervisor, informatics specialist, assistant director of pharmacy, and director of pharmacy. He graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1992 and obtained his MBA from Webster University in 2013.

Adrian Moran is the chief medical officer at Aurora St Luke’s Medical Center, a 938-licensed-bed tertiary/quaternary hospital for Advocate Health in Milwaukee. His responsibilities include leadership of operations, care delivery, and strategic planning of all clinical initiatives. He has more than 30 years of executive experience in health systems and independent practice. He also was a consultant with McKinsey focusing on health care, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. He is a clinically active, board-certified pediatric and adult congenital cardiologist trained at Boston Children’s Hospital.
