STATEMENT BY 340B HEALTH INTERIM PRESIDENT AND CEO MAUREEN TESTONI ON FEDERAL COURT BLOCKING MEDICARE 340B CUTS
WASHINGTON, D.C.— The following statement was issued by Maureen Testoni, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of 340B Health, following a federal court issuing a permanent injunction against Medicare Part B drug payment cuts to many 340B hospitals:
“This is welcome news for hospitals serving low-income patients in need. These steep cuts inflicted harm on safety-net hospitals and the patients they serve. We applaud the Court’s decision and look forward to additional information about the process for restoring the cuts made in 2018.”
